Product Designer

We're looking for a designer to build a better Buffer experience for more than 1.4 million users around the world.

The Buffer process

Buffer embodies a culture of continuous improvement - both in the product and in its people. We never settle for "good enough," recognizing that truly great products are built, refined and perfected over time. At Buffer you will work closely across teams - from engineers to executives - to improve the current product and build the next set of amazing features for Buffer's 1.4 million users.

What we're looking for

You are passionate about making great products that enrich and improve the lives of real people. You have strong visual design skills, as well as the ability to create and implement your ideas on the web. You care about interaction design, typography and layout, and understand the complex nature of changing web technologies. You've designed for both the web and for mobile, and understand the possibilities and constraints that come with each platform. You feel comfortable iterating quickly, deploying new designs and code daily, and are thrilled by a fast-paced product cycle.

What we value

Clear communication, transparency, open-mindedness, empathy and patience are just a few of Buffer's cultural values. We are looking for a designer who understands this culture, and will thrive within a team of people passionate about self-improvement, honesty and openness.

Where you'll work

You will work in the place that makes you happiest, that inspires you daily, and helps you to become the person - and designer - that you wish to be. You will work daily with engineers and team members scattered around the world, and across time zones. More about Buffer's remote work policy.
