We're looking for a designer to build a better Buffer experience for more than 1.8 million users around the world.
Buffer embodies a culture of continuous improvement - both in the product and in its people. We never settle for "good enough," recognizing that truly great products are built, refined and perfected over time. At Buffer you will work closely across teams - from engineers to executives - to improve the current product and build the next set of amazing features for Buffer's 1.8 million users.
You are passionate about making great products that enrich and improve the lives of real people. You have strong visual design skills, as well as the ability to create and implement your ideas on the web. You care about interaction design, typography and layout, and understand the complex nature of changing web technologies. You've designed for both the web and for mobile, and understand the possibilities and constraints that come with each platform. You feel comfortable iterating quickly, deploying new designs and code daily, and are thrilled by a fast-paced product cycle.
This role is very entrepreneurial and will need a lot of fast prototyping and iterating throughout the design process. Expect there to be a lot of fun challenges and bumps in the road, including both failing and winning experiments. Your work will be very fast paced and you'll be a key member of a small design team building Buffer.
You will work in the place that makes you happiest, that inspires you daily, and helps you to become the person - and designer - that you wish to be. You will work daily with engineers and team members scattered around the world, and across time zones. More about Buffer's remote work policy.
